Liz and I decided to take a trip to NYC a few weeks ago, not for any particular reason. We found a really good rate at the Westin Times Square, which turned out to be a really nice hotel, right in the middle of all of the chaos and idocy that occurs there. We had a really nice time, we took one of the double decker tour buses, went to the Statue of Liberty, The Museum of Modern Art, and went for a horse-drawn carriage ride through part of Central Park. Oh…and we saw one of the Courthouses used on Law and Order where Jack McCoy and the Assistant DA come down to speak to the press.
All in all, it was such a great trip. We’ve already decided that we should go back and have booked a second trip for July. Next time we’re staying on Liz’s Starwood points, and taking the boltbus (for $60 round trip) instead of paying the probably $50 in tolls along I-95 and the scenic New Jersey Turnpike.

We have not posted anything here in a really long time. Life has been very busy since we got back from Costa Rica, we’ve found ourselves right in the middle of another summer where we have something planned just about every weekend. In the next month or so, though, we’re going to take some time and go camping, go to the beach and hopefully be able to do some kayaking in Shenandoah, like we did a year or so ago.
Last weekend we visited the National Holocaust Museum in DC, this picture is from outside the museum. I have posted a few others here, on my flickr account.

We’re finally back from our honeymoon in Costa Rica. We had such a great time, it’s very hard to come back to reality. We should have lots of pictures from the wedding and from our trip to post in the next few weeks, so stay tuned until we’re able to get them all up.
For everyone that made it to the wedding, we were so happy to be able to spend some time with each of you, and for those that weren’t able to come, we hope we get to see you all soon.
